About
I'm Marrium Guirguis, and I'm here to support you, no matter where you find yourself in life's journey. I firmly believe that each of us carries a unique narrative. Even when two stories seem similar, they remain distinct and deserve to be acknowledged, validated, and approached with individuality.
Over the course of my career, I've specialized in aiding adults and adolescents aged 14 and above in their battles with PTSD, Anxiety, as well as assisting survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and those navigating complex family dynamics. I've also provided support through various challenges, worked with individuals with disabilities, and helped young couples find their way.
A distinctive aspect of my own journey is my stature - standing at 3'6" due to dwarfism. Through this, I've overcome significant challenges and drawn immense wisdom from my experiences. If you resonate with this unique perspective and sense that there's much to explore and work through, I'm here to guide you.
I've found great success in incorporating an individual's culture, faith, values, and morals into our therapeutic journey, as these elements are integral to understanding one's true self. While my spiritual path motivates my desire to assist others, I'm equally adept at working with individuals of all backgrounds, whether in a faith-based or secular context, depending on your preference.
In a world marked by rapid changes and constant motion, you may be seeking a way to regain control. If so, you're in the right place.

Approach
In my holistic approach to therapy, I center each session around you, valuing the uniqueness of your experiences and individual needs. I've witnessed transformative results by integrating cognitive and humanistic therapies, and when necessary, trauma-informed care.
For example, if you find yourself caught in a whirlwind of rapid thoughts, often linked to anxiety or past traumas, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy provides a powerful framework. It aids in uncovering decision-making challenges and guides you through processing fears and emotions.
Additionally, I emphasize the importance of recognizing your strengths and fostering gratitude. This not only empowers you but also instills a profound sense of hope. In this endeavor, I've discovered that motivational interviewing and positive psychology are instrumental in achieving these goals.
